Little Creatures Dining Hall

Probably one of my favorite places now in Melbourne for a nice beer and some wonderful food. We ended up here after hearing some good things and i have been a fan of Little Creatures for a while now. So basically it a massive dining hall which reminded me of being on camp when i was back in school and massive tables for everyone to sit at. This is the beauty of this dining hall, you can come with 20-25 people and have a table for you all to sit at. Anyway back to the food. The food was beautiful. The stand out for us was the calamari which was perfectly cooked and was probably the best i have ever had. The salad was great too and the pizza was fresh which is always a good sign. Definitely recommend that you go here.

Roquette, pear, walnut & parmesan salad.

Pan fried calamari, citrus & fennel salad.

Kipfler potato, rosemary & taleggio pizza.

Digi Caf

Little breakfast place in the heart of Glebe Sydney. I came across this place because i was hearing some chatter through a few websites on it being a great spot for breakky. So we thought why not give it a try. I can tell u now that the food is wonderful, really lovely. Maybe a little heavy handed on the oil and serving sauce but other than that it was fantastic. The service however is a bit funny. The waiter we had was pretty rude actually and was trying to make us looks stupid for what we were ordering but after all that we got our meals and enjoyed.

parmesan & olive bread: grilled, thick cut slices of café baked bread, filled with fresh shaved parmesan, kalamata olives and corn meal, served atop a bed of baby spinach, with two poached eggs.

pesto mushrooms: oven crisped lavash bread topped with fresh sliced, pan fried mushrooms tossed with café-created basil pesto, topped with two poached eggs

All in all the food is great but only go here if u can put up with rude wait staff who are unhappy in their lives.

Demitri's Feast

I must say this is one of my favorite places for breakfast. It's nothing extravagant but in a good way :) The food has a greek twist to the majority of the menu and it is absolutely delicious. I haven't had a bad meal from Demitri's. So go and check it out.

Fried Eggs w.free range bacon, lokaniko sausage & oven roasted tomatoes
Poached Eggs w. Tom Cooper’s ouzo & dill cured salmon & spinach
Omeletta Greek omelette w. lokaniko sausage, potatoes and kefalograviera

They arealso pretty quick on service but just make sure your willing to wait 10-15 mins for a table occasionally when its busy.

Service: 8/10
Food: 8.5/10
Place: 7.5/10 - No A/C lol
